Huge JUCO WR Jeff George signs with Tennessee

Tennessee has a new red zone target to throw to.

In need of some depth at the receiver position, Tennessee looks to have found from junior college prospect Jeff George. George officially signed his scholarship papers Wednesday to join the Vols 2016 roster. 

The 6-foot-6, 190-pound George will have two seasons of eligibility at Tennessee following two seasons he played at Dodge City Community College. His position coach, Zach Azzanni was among the first to welcome George to the team.

After suffering a laundry list of injuries at the receiver position in 2015, the Vols are expected to bring in a number of receivers this offseason. Getting a mature target with George’s length could pay dividends as soon as next season for a Tennessee team lacking seasoned receivers.
