Missouri fans, feel free to look away.

The last time South Carolina traveled to Columbia (Missouri) to take on the Tigers, the stakes for the game were considerable. Missouri was ranked No. 5, and the Gamecocks were sitting at No. 20.

Buoyed by a gimpy Connor Shaw, the Gamecocks were able to eek out a 27-24 victory in double-overtime. Missouri kicker Andrew Baggett missed a 24-yard field-goal attempt, which ultimately gave South Carolina the victory. It also marked Missouri’s first loss of the 2013 season.

In this year’s installment, the two teams are each looking for their first conference victory of the season. Will the game be settled by a field goal in overtime again?

Missouri probably hopes it can take care of business without the need for any extra play.
