South Carolina has a number of draft-eligible prospects for the 2016 NFL Draft in April.
Potentially the top three Gamecocks with the best chances of being drafted include receiver Pharoh Cooper, offensive lineman Brandon Shell, and tight end Jerell Adams.
Cooper has been one of the most productive receivers in the SEC over the course of the past two seasons. There have been some questions about his top-end speed. As draft guru Mel Kiper intimated, a good 40-time by Cooper could boost his stock considerably.

Shell is also a prospect with the potential to land in the second or third round, according to Kiper. At 6’6", 328 pounds, Shell is one of the more sizable prospects at the tackle position within this class. Again like Cooper, if Shell can alleviate some athletic concerns via combine workouts, he could also go earlier than currently projected.
While he’s not projected as the top tight end prospect in the draft, Adams could also rise with a strong pro day and showing in Indianapolis at the major combine. The physical tools are certainly there for Adams to be a quality player on the next level.
