Vernon Adams Jr. said his broken right index finger is improving and the pain has lessened over the past month. However, Adam will not be back in the lineup unless he is fully healthy.

Last Saturday, Oregon beat Colorado 41-24 and played both Jeff Lockie and Taylor Alie. It's not the way Adams envisioned his senior season going.

“It was really tough for me not playing, especially this is my senior year,” Adams said after Monday’s practice, according to The Register-Guard. “I got to be 100 percent before I can go out there. I want to give this team my 100 percent because they’re giving me this opportunity to compete and play for the Ducks.”

Adams went on to say that he would return when he can give the Ducks everything he has.

“I’ve just (got) to give them 100 percent, that’s what I’m waiting on.”
