Hugh Freeze met with the media following Wednesday’s practice and revealed two players from his star-studded junior class are likely to return, as the Ole Miss coach believes both defensive back Tony Conner and tight end Evan Engram will be back in 2016.

“I don’t think (Conner’s) even thinking in those terms. He’s thinking let me get myself well and come have a great senior year, and I think Evan’s kind of thinking the same thing, too. But again, we’ll gather all the facts.”

Conner had entered the season as a potential high draft pick but injuries have plagued his junior season and he has already undergone one knee surgery this season.

Meanwhile, Engram has the potential talent to play at the next level, but so far this season his production has not matched the hype leading up to the 2015 campaign. The junior has only one touchdown reception and has failed to register more than 41 receiving yards in any game this season.
