Nkemdiche unlikely to play against Texas A&M
It appears unlikely Ole Miss star defensive end Robert Nkemdiche will play against Texas A&M on Saturday night.
According to head coach Hugh Freeze, Nkemdiche woke up with headaches Saturday morning. He had suffered a concussion last week in the loss to Memphis. Although he was cleared to participate Friday afternoon, the recent development reverses that initial thought.
It's a blow for an Ole Miss defense going up against an explosive A&M offense. Nkemdiche has 17 tackles on the season, to go with 1.5 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss.
Hugh Freeze said on the pregame radio show Robert Nkemdiche woke up with headaches this morning and is unlikely to play against Texas A&M.
