The Sooners can avenge their only loss, in the Red River rivalry game at the State Fair of Texas eight weeks ago. The Longhorns will try to win their first league championship since 2009, when they were the last Big 12 team to play for a national championship.
Sooners dual-threat QB Kyler Murray, the Big 12’s most efficient passer (306 yards per game, 37 TDs, seven interceptions) and seventh-best rusher (71 yards per game, 11 TDs), against the Texas defense. Murray had 396 total yards and five TDs in the first meeting. He also had two turnovers before a 21-point tying spurt in less than six minutes late, including his 67-yard TD run
