The Huskers are now 2-3 after falling to Illinois on Saturday 14-13.

According to multiple reporters on scene, ‘Huskers senior offensive lineman Alex Lewis told the fans, “I’m sorry we suck” as he walked off the field in Champaign, Ill.

He was reportedly smiling and blowing kisses to the crowd as he said it.
