WATCH: Nebraska DE Gangwish goes into stands to thank fans

Sometimes it just isn’t your year.

 

That is proving to be the case for Nebraska in 2015, but one of the bright spots on and off the field this season has been former walk-on Jack Gangwish. Many fans of the Huskers hold Gangwish as the example of what a Nebraska player should be.

 

He proved those fans right again after the game on Saturday by going into the stands after losing to Purdue to thank the fans who made the trip from Lincoln. Robin Washut of HuskerOnline captured the moment:

What a classy gesture from a guy that fans everywhere can appreciate.
