This is what an 80-yard punt looks
Nothing says classic Big Ten football like a game-changing punt, and Michigan got one of those from Blake O’Neill in the first quarter of the Wolverines’ game against Michigan State on Saturday.
O’Neill rolled to his right before unleashing a high line drive that went over the head of the Spartan return man and was downed inside the 5-yard line.

While it was an impressive boot, it was not the longest in school history, however.
The O'Neill punt is a mainland U-M record, though. Monte Robbins' 82-yarder came in Hawaii.
