Miami linebacker Raphael Kirby may be down after sustaining a season-ending knee injury on Saturday, but his spirts are up.

The Hurricanes senior linebacker and leading tackler injured his knee during Miami’s 30-20 victory over Virginia Tech on Saturday, but encouraged his teammates the next day when he tweeted: “Gonna miss this, I love my team! I expect great things! Coastal is ours #believe.”

With a 4-2 (1-1) record, Miami is currently tied for fourth in the Coastal Division with Virginia and will be back in action this week when it hosts No. 6 Clemson (6-0, 3-0 ACC) at noon.
