Miami Hurricanes National Signing Day: OL Zalon'Tae Hillery

Updated Mar. 5, 2020 1:29 a.m. ET

Hillery is a 6’6 287, three star tackle from Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Georgia that adds depth to a very good class of offensive linemen. He was a high school teammate of fellow 2017 Miami signee DeeJay Dallas.

Hillery adds to what appears to be a stellar offensive line class by Mark Richt and offensive line coach Stacy Searles. A three star prospect that is in the consensus top 50 at his position.

With the stellar offensive linemen that Miami has signed, Hillery is likely to be a player thats adds depth. The consensus on him is that he plays with a high motor and a lot of intelligence. He is ranked by most services on average in the 50’s at his position.

Matt Porter of the Palm Beach reported that Hillery told Rivals.Com that he prefers to play tackle. Hillery is still raw, but is built solidly. He is a good enough athlete that he played some defensive end this past season. Hillery committed to UM at the Paradise camp last summer.
