Mark Mangino dismissed as Iowa State offensive coordinator

Mangino's dismissal comes as a bit of a surprise, as Iowa State's offense doesn't seem to be the team's biggest issue.

Mark Mangino has been let go as Iowa State's offensive coordinator following the Cyclones' 45-21 loss to Baylor on Saturday, according to the school.

Mangino had been on the Iowa State staff since 2014.

There was reportedly a difference of opinions between Mangino and head coach Paul Rhoads.

Mangino's son, Tommy, is the Cyclones' wide receivers coach and will remain in his position.
