The Hokies are one step closer to completing their new indoor practice facility. The project, which has been under construction since last spring, is in its final stages, as Virginia Tech football's official Twitter account posted a picture of the turf being installed over the weekend.
Back in March, Virginia Tech senior associate athletics director Tom Gabbard told Andy Bitter of The Roanoke Times that the facility was still "on schedule" for a July 1 target completion date.
