Nevada coach Brian Polian joined The Audible With Bruce Feldman for a wide-ranging football discussion.

He covered what he learned from Nick Saban at Michigan State, working for Jim Harbaugh at Stanford, how Indiana hoops coach Tom Crean helped get him a job, what Johnny Manziel has in common with a couple of all-time great QBs and much more.

The coolest part, though?

Polian’s love for former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly.

Growing up around the Buffalo Bills — his dad, Bill Polian, was the GM — Brian Polian said Kelly was his childhood hero and gave him more memories than he could ever thank Kelly for.

So with Kelly hanging tough in his battle with cancer, Polian tries to say thanks in a special message to the former Bills QB.
