ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) Elijah Ibitokun-Hanks ran for 183 yards and a career-high four touchdowns and Albany beat Holy Cross 45-28 on Saturday night.
Neven Sussman threw two touchdown passes to Zee Roberson, who finished with five catches for 142 yards, for Albany (3-0). Sussman completed 8 of 12 passes for 183 yards.
Peter Pujals' 9-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Montgomery capped a nine-play, 90-yard drive and gave Holy Cross (1-2) a 7-0 lead with 1:47 left in the first quarter.

Ibitokun-Hanks scored on runs of 40 and 4 yards, as well as touchdown catches of 41 and 49 yards by Roberson, in the second to make it 28-7 at halftime. Malachi Hoskins' strip-sack of Pujals on the first possession of the second half was returned 42 yards, by Brian Dolce, to the 25-yard line, setting up a 42-yard field goal by Ethan Stark.
Pujals, who finished 35 of 55 for 353 yards, threw TD passes to Jake Wieczorek and Richie DeNicola to pull the Crusaders within 10 with 13:33 to play but, on the ensuing possession, Ibitokun-Hanks ran five times for 47 yards – including a 7-yard touchdown that made it 38-21. His 13-yard TD run capped the scoring with 4:14 left.
