Nelson, who previously committed to Miami, had several major offers but the 6-foot-4, 230-pound pass rusher will be wearing an Orange jersey next season.
The Fort Lauderdale native is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports, who lists him as the 63-best weakside defensive end in the nation.
