Georgia star LB Leonard Floyd not happy about Richt’s departure

Leonard Floyd appears to be headed for the NFL Draft.

If the Georgia Bulldogs had any chance of bringing back star outside linebacker Leonard Floyd, that window appeared to be slammed shut when the school decided not to retain head coach Mark Richt for the 2016 season.

The junior defender could return for his senior season, however these tweets from Sunday indicate that seems highly unlikely at this point:

Floyd has racked up 176 tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss and 17 sacks in his three-year career in Athens, which appears all but over following the Bulldogs’ bowl game.
