Devon Gales made his second trip to Sanford Stadium Saturday for the Georgia, Georgia Southern game. Gales, a sophomore for Southern, was paralyzed earlier this season while playing against the Bulldogs inside Sanford Stadium Sept. 26.

Gales and his family are making the return trip to thank the Bulldog program and all the fans for their outpouring of support during his injury and his lengthy road to recovery, of which he continues to battle everyday.

According to Dawg Nation, Gales had wished to attend Southern’s season finale against Grambling in New Orleans, however his doctors have determined the trip, "would be too strenuous at this stage of his rehab."

Gales is currently undergoing rehab at Atlanta’s Shepherd Center.
