Gators fill huge need as OL Stone Forsythe commits to Florida Gators
Exiting the first spring of the Jim McElwain era in Gainesville, the Gators only have six scholarship offensive linemen before the remaining members of their 2015 recruiting class arrive this summer.
This glaring positional need got help today by the commitment of offensive linemen Stone Forsythe of Winter Garden West Orange.
"I just want to be a Gator. I just want to play in the Swamp," Forsythe told the Orlando Sentinel. "I'm excited to see what Coach Mac is going to do and they've been really recruiting me hard."
The 6-foot-7, 320-pound Forsythe plans to enroll early and sounds happy to get his recruitment over with, "I don't have to worry about where I want to play anymore. I can just work my butt off during the summer and get ready for the next fall."
Stone Forsythe becomes the 10th commitment for the Gators' 2016 recruiting class.
