FSU Football: Best Photos From ‘Noles Win Over Syracuse
FSU football got its eighth win of the season by defeating Syracuse 45-14 Saturday. We check out the best photos from the historic game.
FSU football running back Dalvin Cook made history on two separate occasions Saturday. He became the FSU all-time leading rusher on a 41 yard run in the first quarter, passing Warrick Dunn who set the record 20 years ago.
Cook later became the first running back in ACC history to surpass 4,000 rushing yards in only three seasons.
Let’s check out some of the great photos from the game.
FSU football quarterback Deondre Francois had a huge day, passing for over 300 yards and two touchdowns. Both touchdowns came in the first quarter.
The FSU defense had a big day with eight sacks on the day. DeMarcus (2 sacks) Walker and Brian Burns (2.5 sacks) led the way with Josh Sweat adding another 1.5 sacks.
FSU wide receiver Auden Tate had another good game as he’s becoming one of FSU’s most consistent performers. He had five receptions for a team high 77 yards on the day.
Dalvin Cook absolutely shredded the Syracuse defense en route to tying his career high with four rushing touchdowns. It’s worth nothing he did lose two fumbles in the game.
FSU wide receiver Travis Rudolph had a good game as well, catching 5 passes for 64 yards and a touchdown.
FSU football head coach Jimbo Fisher has to be happy with the way the FSU offense has started quickly the past two weeks. He’ll look to defeat arch rival Florida next week for the sixth time in seven tries.
