Former longtime Penn State defensive coordinator Tom Bradley, now West Virginia’s defensive line coach, is "close to being hired" as UCLA’s new defensive coordinator, a source told FOX Sports early Thursday morning.

Bradley, who spent over 20 years at PSU and served as the Nittany Lions head coach for four games after Joe Paterno was fired in 2011, would replace Jeff Ulbrich, who left the Bruins for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons.
