College Football Playoff Committee High on Big 10 and Pac 12
The new rankings are out and the College Football Playoff Committee members are high on two conferences in particular. There are four Big 10 teams ranked in the top seven, and six Pac 12 teams in the top 25.
Alabama is still in the top spot, Clemson is at No. 4, Washington at 5. Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin and Penn State fill out the remainder of the first 7 teams. Oklahoma, Colorado and Oklahoma State round out the Top 10.
The playoff rankings may be much different next week with the number of rivalry games that will be played on Saturday. Several of the Top 10 teams play in-state rivals and that always makes things interesting.
Undefeated Alabama will play Auburn in the Iron Bowl. A win by the Tigers won’t let them back in the playoff race, but it will give Auburn bragging rights in the state for a year.
