Bill Snyder consoles Charlie Strong after Kansas State beats Texas

The Texas Longhorns lost 24-21 Saturday in a game that felt like the last straw for Texas fans with Charlie Strong. With the loss, Texas is now 3-4 this season and just 14-18 since he took over the program three years ago.

But there is still at least one man who is rooting for the Longhorns' embattled head coach: K-State coach Bill Snyder.

Following the loss, Synder shared an encouraging message for Strong, which included the following phrase.

“Hang in there, you're doing — I mean this from the bottom of my heart — you are the guy [for the job]. You are the guy.”

Say what you want about Snyder, but win or lose, he remains one of the true gentlemen in college football. That was once again on display Saturday.
