Brady Hoke denies falling asleep at recruit’s home
By Andrew Holleran
Brady Hoke wants to clear something up.
The former Michigan coach’s name has been making the rounds over the last 24 hours for something not-so-flattering. According to Wolverines’ running back De’veon Smith, Hoke fell asleep on the player’s couch when he came over the then-prospect’s house for a recruiting visit.
That’s not true, though, Hoke says.
Hoke on Sirius just now said he did NOT fall asleep on De'Veon Smith's couch. He joked, “Maybe De'Veon fell asleep. Never happened”

Hoke probably didn’t literally fall asleep on Smith’s couch, but if a college coach were going to actually pass out on a sofa during a recruiting visit, it’d be Hoke, right?
