My oh my, how quickly things can change in the SEC.

Heading into the season, many had Auburn as a playoff team led by Heisman contending junior quarterback Jeremy Johnson. Four months later, the Tigers finished the season in last place in the SEC West with Johnson’s future on the team up in the air.

In the aftermath of a 29-16 loss in the Iron Bowl, a game in which Johnson started and completed 10 of his 23 passes, the quarterback gave this answer when asked about his future plans.

"No," Johnson said. "No comment."

Johnson’s comments sure don’t make it seem like his return is a guarantee.

Auburn has two quarterback commitments lined up in its 2016 recruiting class, one of which is a junior college player expecting to play next season.
