Talented 2016 defensive end prospect Keir Thomas will give one SEC team a wonderful Christmas present.

Via The State, the Miami native will announce his final decision on Dec. 24. He’s narrowed his choices down to Arkansas, Auburn, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Thomas is an early enrollee, and will be entering college this upcoming January. South Carolina is the only finalist in which the former Florida State commitment has not visited officially.

At 6’1", 245 pounds, the Rivals.com 3-star prospect plays violently — and is adept at using powerful leverage to best offensive blockers.

Although he didn’t visit South Carolina officially, the Gamecocks shouldn’t be completely counted out.

"It would be a good fit. They would be running the same defense they ran at Auburn, and I fit perfect in that defense," said Thomas. "They do a good job of putting kids in the pros. I’m just looking for a home away from home."

With his physically-mature frame, Thomas could see time early in his college career. On the year, the Miami Central product accrued 20 sacks.
