Arkansas gains commit from three-star safety Deon Edwards
The Arkansas Razorbacks gained their 12th commitment of their 2016 recruiting class with the pledge of Florida safety Deon Edwards Wednesday.
Edwards is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and is said to be one of their top targets. Edwards is also the first safety to commit to the class.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Edwards spoke to 247Sports following his commitment and broke down why he chose to pledge to Arkansas.
"They are family," Edwards said. "A great football team, amazing coaches and a rising program. I am glad to be a Hog. WooPig."
