Reggie Ragland named 2015 SEC Defensive Player of the Year

Alabama not only has the best offensive player in the league, they have the best defender as well. Senior linebacker Reggie Ragland was named the 2015 SEC Defensive Player of the Year after anchoring the league’s toughest defense. 

Ragland’s 90 tackles lead the Crimson Tide this season and helped guide his team to the nation’s No. 1 ranked rushing defense, No. 2 ranked total defense, No. 3 scoring defense and No. 5 passer efficiency rating. 

The Tide linebacker is also a finalist for the following national individual awards: Bednarik, Butkus and Nagurski trophies.
