Matt Sykes - Struggles versus UConn Sykes reeled in 3 of 5 targets for 24 yards during Saturday's 17-10 defeat against Connecticut.

Impact Sykes did not get much going Saturday as he gained just 24 yards, his second-fewest this season. After being targeted at least nine times in each of the previous four games -- all with quarterback E.J. Warner -- Sykes saw just five with Drew Devillier. It's currently unclear what the Owls are going to do at quarterback on Saturday versus Navy, and Sykes' value seems to hinge on Warner starting.

Dean Connors - Quiet in Saturday's loss Connors tallied 20 carries for 46 yards and hauled in 4 of 6 targets for 13 yards during Saturday's 17-10 loss to Connecticut.

Impact Connors saw plenty of opportunities Saturday but he was unable to get much going. He had a season-high 24 touches but only gained 59 yards from scrimmage, his second-fewest this season. He will look to get more going versus Navy on Saturday.

Drew Devillier - Struggles in first start Devillier completed 14 of 30 passes for 88 yards during Saturday's 17-10 loss versus Connecticut. He also had six rushes for seven yards.

Impact Devillier made his first start of the season Saturday as he took over the offense from E.J. Warner. The true freshman did not make the impact that he would have liked as he completed fewer than 50 percent of his passes and did not even reach 100 passing yards. The entire offense struggled in the loss to UConn too, so it was not all on Devillier. It's not clear if Devillier will keep the job over Warner, especially since he did not light it up in his opportunity.
