Impact Johnson led the Hawkeyes' rushing corps in carries ahead of Leshon Williams (11 carries, 64 yards) and Gavin Williams (seven carries, 17 rushing yards), who have been both been banged up over the past few weeks. These three rushers averaged a combined season-high of 4.2 yard per carry. The freshman back should continue to see a healthy workload now that he's carved out a role in Iowa's run-first offense.

Scores twice in easy win Johnson recorded 103 rushing yards and two touchdowns on seven carries while hauling in a seven-yard catch on his lone target during Saturday's 27-0 win against Nevada.

Impact Johnson made the first impact of his young Iowa career, scoring his team's first and final touchdowns against the Wolfpack. The vast majority of the freshman's production came on these two long rushing scores of 40 yards and 55 yards in the first and fourth quarters, respectively. Johnson may continue to see opportunities out of the backfield for the Hawkeyes so long as presumptive top rusher Leshon Williams (undisclosed) remains sidelined this season.
