2009: Texas tops Ohio State
Colt McCoy threw for 414 yards and two touchdowns as Texas beat Ohio State 24-21 in the Fiesta Bowl following the 2008 season. The Texas legend led the Longhorns on a game-winning touchdown drive in the final two minutes.
Joe Paterno coached Penn State in six Fiesta Bowls, the first in 1977 and the last in '97. The Nittany Lions also played in the Fiesta Bowl in '80, '82, '87 and '92.
