"Act like you've won the most entertaining game of 2016 before."
Death, taxes, ba-humbug-ing the field rush.
This is the unholy triumvirate of life's inevitabilities, and I'll leave you to guess which one reared its head after Saturday's dramatic end to Michigan and Ohio State's monster throwdown in Columbus.
What was already a wild and ridiculous game ended in a fittingly raucous overtime shootout, with the Buckeyes coming out on top on a Curtis Samuel touchdown—a touchdown that sent Ohio State students flooding onto the field.
It was an emotional ending to an instant classic rivalry game, but the devil must still have his due, and like clockwork, the anti-rushers saw red t-shirts on the field and rose up to condemn this heinous breach of football fan morality.
