After a rough Week 11, I’m barely hanging above .500 on the season. Time to turn this this thing around.
Last week ATS: 3-8
Louisville at Houston (+14, Thursday)
I expect Houston to feed off the energy of the home crowd and play better than it has lately, but a banged-up Greg Ward Jr. – who’s run for just 3.0 yards per attempt this year -- will be hard-pressed to outduel full-strength Lamar Jackson.
I originally planned to pick Oklahoma in this game, but after the committee disrespected the 8-1 Mountaineers so badly by bumping 7-3 USC ahead of them, I’m now predicting ticked-off WVU comes out and proves them wrong.
Christian McCaffrey is back to his old explosive self, averaging 196 rushing/receiving yards during Stanford’s three straight wins. He should gain at least that much if not more against Cal’s 127th-ranked rushing defense.
