Shut down by BYU defense Gabriel went 21-for-45 with 217 yards and two touchdowns while rushing six times for 31 yards in Tuesday's loss to BYU at the Boca Raton Bowl.

Impact Gabriel had a tough task ahead of him Tuesday as he tried to keep pace with BYU's explosive offense, but he was unable to find receivers and was held to a season-low 217 yards. Also setting a new season-low by only connecting on 47 percent of his passes, the sole highlight from the Hawaiian quarterback was his ability to make it seven straight outings with multiple passing touchdowns. He'll end his sophomore season with 357.0 yards per game and 32 touchdowns versus four interceptions in 10 games for the Knights.

Impact Gabriel was without his favorite target Marlon Williams (undisclosed) in the contest, but the sophomore quarterback still was able to throw for 300 yards after being held under the mark in the last two games. Despite throwing a pick in his second consecutive game, Gabriel finished the regular season with 30 passing touchdowns and two rushing scores versus only six turnovers. UCF now awaits to see who they will face next in the postseason.
