Michigan State adds 2014 recruit

Bel Air (Kans.) Sunrise Christian Academy standout Marvin Clark made his college choice on Monday. Clark, a 6-foot-6 forward, picked Michigan State over scholarship offers from Kansas State, Indiana and Seton Hall.

"œIn all, it was a hard decision and probably the hardest decision I’ve had to make," Clark told Scout.com in an exclusive interview. "When I got there, it just felt like home."

"œAnother factor was my mom," Clark said. “She wanted me to stay close, after being there that’s where she wanted me to be. She said regardless of how basketball went that she felt like I would be taken care of there. I couldn’t get the feeling off my mind."

Clark took his official visit to Michigan State on March 1st.

Michigan State now has a trio of pledges in their 2014 class. Clark joins a pair of three-star recruits — Javon Bess and Lourawls Nairn — to make up their current 2014 recruiting class.
