Cooper Manning sits down with Tom Izzo ahead of Michigan State's match up with Maryland

- I'm here with my old friend, Tom Izzo, head coach of Michigan State. Coach, all these young guys come in, they're trying to impress me, they're wearing their best suits. You don't even wear the tie anymore. You got 23 years.

- You got your Spartan shirt on--

- I'm over-dressed. This is as dressy as you'll ever see me. Normally I'm dressed like a coach. I wear sweatpants everywhere.

- Oh, man, you'd be my kind of guy.

- Is that what-- How many days a week are you wearing sweats during the season?

- A lot. I just wear sweats or something pullover. That way you go to work, go to practice, sometimes don't go home. It works out great. You sleep in it.

- Sleep in it.

- And you work in it.

- Do everything, yeah. You could wear one outfit the whole week, never know. This is all I'm wearing. I'm wearing this out tonight in Manhattan. I hope that's OK.

- Your dad would be proud of you. You look good. You look good.

- I feel good. Green matches my teeth. Your football coach, Mark Dantonio, pretty serious guy, but I think he likes hoops. If you all had a little one-on-one match, how do you think it would go?

- I don't know, he was a pretty good player, a little bigger than me.

- Yeah, scrappy.

- He played at South Carolina, was an athlete, defensive back, so I mean, he could play. But right now, I think his skill level is more for the oblong ball than the round ball.

- Yeah, you still got it. My money's on you, Coach. No doubt. Free money.

- Free money.

- I appreciate you stopping by.

- I appreciate you having me, and keep wearing that shirt. I might get you something some day.

- I think it may. I appreciate you bringing it to me. It's very kind of you, and all the other gifts. This was a little too much.

- Aw, you got wear that, man. You got to bring it around, especially when you're in New York.

- Yeah, you need this.

- Just put that in front of you. Those cab drivers run into you, it's no big deal. You can--

- Little check.

- Forearm shiver them right off.

- It's the Spartan way.

- It's the Spartan way, man.

- That's my way.

- Thank you.

- Thanks for dropping by.

- Good to see you, man.

- Good to see you, Coach.
