DeJuan Clayton - Struggles in season debut Clayton finished with five points (2-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 22 minutes during Thursday's 58-43 loss to Utah.
Impact In his first game back, Clayton struggled to find a rhythm as a scorer shooting a very inefficient 20% from the field. Once he finds his spot in the rotation, expect the senior to make an impact off the bench for the Golden Bears.

Devin Askew - Solid contribution in loss Askew finished with seven points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, and two assists across 27 minutes during Thursday's 58-43 loss to Utah.
Impact Even though Askew finished as one of the leading scorers for the Golden Bears, he struggled to handle the ball finishing with a team-high five turnovers. The junior guard has had an exceptional year thus far, averaging a career-high 16.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists over 31.4 minutes per night.

Impact Alajiki wound up in the starting five last week when the team took on UT-Arlington and will return to the bench in favor of Kuany Kuany. The 6-7 sophomore has seen his minutes nearly double in comparison to last year and is averaging 5.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in 22.6 minutes per contest.

Monty Bowser - Heads back to bench Bowser is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against Utah.
Impact Bowser made a spot start for the injured Devin Askew the Bears' last time out but will head back to the bench with Askew returning the lineup. The 6-7 sophomore has been a liability in the scoring department, averaging just 1.5 points in 13.9 minutes per game thus far.

Kuany Kuany - Starting Thursday Kuany is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against Utah.
Impact Kuany came off the bench for the first time all year in a gimme game against UT-Arlington last week and finished with a season-high 16 points. The 6-9 senior had fallen short of double figures in back-to-back games prior and will look to keep the momentum while helping the Bears to their first conference win of the year.
