Full-go this week
Polley (COVID-19 protocol) is a full-go going forward, Charlotte Carroll of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Polley had been held out due to COVID-19 protocols, but was able to return to practice last week. He will contribute in the frontcourt on Wednesday against DePaul.

Returning to practice this week
Polley (COVID-19 protocol) will return to practice this week, Gavin Keefe of TheDay.com reports.
Impact
Polley has been in COVID-19 protocol, but should be able to practice with the team fully by Friday. That means that he should be all good to go the next time the Huskies are on the court for game action on Dec. 30 against DePaul.

Still in COVID-19 protocol
Polley is unavailable for Sunday's game against Creighton because he has not finished the team's COVID-19 protocol, Dom Amore of the Hartford Courant reports.
Impact
The Huskies recently had to postpone four of their games due to ongoing COVID-19 issues within their program and it appears as if Polley was one of the members who tested positive for the virus. It's unclear when the senior forward is expected to be available as it seems he still has a few more steps to complete before being released from the team's COVID protocol.

Absent from warmups
Polley (undisclosed) is not dressed out and isn't warming up with the rest of his teammates ahead of Sunday's game against Creighton, Neil Ostrout of the Journal Inquirer reports.
Impact
Polley was not spotted going through warmups with the rest of the Huskies before Sunday's tipoff against Creighton which all but guarantees he won't be playing. It remains unclear what's hindering him from playing as he won't be available for UConn's first Big East conference game after a seven-year hiatus. His next chance to play will come Dec. 30 against DePaul.

Question mark for Sunday
Polley's status for Saturday's game against Creighton is unclear, Neill Ostrout of the Manchester Journal Inquirer reports.
Impact
Polley logged just four minutes in the last game versus USC and didn't make a meaningful impact in the contest. It appears he's still dealing with some sort of issue that leaves his status in doubt for Sunday's contest. Look for Polley's status to be confirmed ahead of the noon ET opening tip.

Not starting Wednesday
Polley is not among the starting five for Thursday's game versus USC, Neill Ostrout of the Manchester Journal Inquirer reports.
Impact
Polley is one of two subtractions from Thursday's starting five along with Jalen Gaffney. Tyrese Martin and Adama Sanogo will get a look with the starting group in the pair's place, though Polley should still see a decent chunk of minutes off the bench.

Cleared to return
Polley (knee) has been fully cleared for live action, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact
Polley tore his ACL in practice back in January and had successful surgery to repair his knee. The 6-9 forward started in all 15 games for the Huskies last season while averaging 9.5 points and 3.2 rebounds in just over 25 minutes per game. Polley is expected to reassume his starting role and should pair up well with Akok Akok (Achilles) in the frontcourt once he's able to return down the road.
