BALTIMORE (AP) Will Darley scored a career-high 38 points with a school-record 10 3-pointers and UMBC beat UMass-Lowell 108-102 on Saturday to end a three-game skid.

Darley and two other UMBC players had hit eight 3s in a game, including Terence Ward, who did it twice in 2001, and Ray Barbosa, who did it in 2007 against Navy.

Rodney Elliott and Jairus Lyles scored 14 apiece, Arkel Lamar added 11, and K.J. Maura had 10 assists for the Retrievers (17-10, 8-6 America East), who never trailed in shooting 16 of 26 (61.5 percent) from behind the arc. It's the 12th time this season UMBC has hit 10 or more 3-pointers in a game and the fourth time it scored 100 or more.

Darley hit back-to-back 3s and UMBC led 60-50 early in the second half. The River Hawks closed to 62-60 but UMBC led 78-67 after a 10-4 run capped by Elliott's layup with 11:21 to go. Darley's 10th 3 put UMBC up 101-91 with 1:51 left.
