KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Chris Cokley and William Lee scored 19 points apiece, Dirk Williams added 15 and Alabama-Birmingham beat George Washington 81-74 on Tuesday night in the third-place game of the CBE Classic.
Cokley helped the Blazers (3-2) race out to a 15-point first-half lead, then Lee came alive when the Colonials (3-2) tied it 60-all late in the game. The junior forward hit a pair of 3s and scored nine points during a 12-2 run that gave UAB a 72-62 lead with just over two minutes to go.
