St. Francis rallies in second half to beat LIU Brooklyn (Feb 04, 2017)

NEW YORK (AP) Josh Nebo scored 19 points and St. Francis (Pa.) bounced back from a double-digit second-half deficit to beat LIU Brooklyn 80-78 on Saturday.

LIU Brooklyn led 41-34 at halftime and 57-46 with 14:11 left to play. Isaiah Blackmon drilled a 3-pointer to start the Red Flash comeback, which was completed when Andre Wolford hit a jumper for a 66-65 lead with 6:56 to go. St. Francis (11-12, 8-4 Northeast Conference) did not trail the rest of the way.

Jashaun Agosto tied it at 68 for the Blackbirds, but the Red Flash scored 9 of 13 for a 77-72 lead. LIU Brooklyn had a possession to win it, but Glenn Feidanga turned it over.

Blackmon finished with 15 points and seven boards for St. Francis, which shot 50 percent.

Agosto led the Blackbirds (14-11, 7-5) with 19 points. Julian Batts hit four 3-pointers and had 14 points.
