Smith, Miller lead UNC Greensboro over Chattanooga 72-51 (Feb 23, 2018)

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) Marvin Smith and Isaiah Miller scored 14 points apiece for UNC Greensboro in a 72-51 victory over Chattanooga on Friday night.

UNC Greensboro (23-7, 14-3 Southern Conference) has won consecutive games since its three-point loss to Mercer on Saturday, and is now tied for first place in the conference with East Tennessee State (14-3), which lost to Wofford.

Smith and Miller combined for 12-of-23 shooting from the field. Smith had four of the Spartans' eight 3-pointers. James Dickey chipped in 11 points.

Joshua Phillips scored 17 points and Makale Foreman had 15 to lead Chattanooga (9-21, 3-14), which has lost six of its last seven games.

Dickey scored on a dunk to spark a 15-6 run for a 31-16 halftime lead for UNC Greensboro. Demetrius Troy scored five points and Smith made back-to-back 3-pointers and the Spartans led 46-28 and cruised from there.
