Among his first-round picks in the men’s bracket are just a few notable upsets: Bucknell over West Virginia, Marquette over South Carolina, VCU over St. Mary’s, and Wichita State over Dayton. Obama has North Carolina, Duke, Arizona and Kansas reaching the Final Four — with the Tar Heels cutting down the nets after beating the Blue Devils in the national championship game.
And in the women’s bracket, Obama isn’t expecting UConn’s amazing 107-game winning streak to come to an end this season.
