Northern Colorado routs D-III Colorado College 126-56

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Trent Harris made 11 3-pointers and finished with 33 points and Northern Colorado won its season opener with a 126-56 rout of Division III Colorado College on Friday night.

Harris was 11 of 15 from the floor with all of his baskets coming from long range. Sam Masten made four 3-pointers and finished with 23 points for Northern Colorado. Jordan Davis added 17 points, Cole Bergan 11 and Jonah Radebaugh 10. The Bears made 23 of their 47 shots from beyond the arc, shot 59 percent overall and were 23 of 26 from the free-throw line.

CooXooEii Black led Colorado College with 20 points and Eric Jonas scored 10.

Harris and Radebaugh made back-to-back 3-pointers and the Bears led 24-7 eight minutes into the game. Harris hit consecutive 3s to close the first half as the Bears built a 60-30 halftime advantage.
