Caris LeVert has been out the past four games, including an upset win over No. 3 Maryland, with what Michigan is only listing as a "lower leg injury."

According to Mark Synder of the Detroit Free Press, Michigan head coach John Beilein told reporters that the team’s leader in points and assists is walking around pain free.

“He's walking around pain-free,” U-M coach John Beilein said late Sunday, after the Wolverines' 82-71 loss to No. 16 Iowa. “We're going to get some more tests this week. We've been testing him physically, now medical tests.”

Once he is cleared to fully practice, he may not play in the next game, though. This week that's hosting Minnesota on Wednesday night at Crisler Center.

LeVert suffered the injury against Illinois back on Dec. 30 and was originally ruled as day-to-day. The 6-foot-7 senior is averaging 17.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game.

Michigan, which went 1-2 against ranked opponents in its last three games, hosts Minnesota on Wednesday night.
