Louisville can't even get this uncontested dunk to go down during horrible possession

Louisville looked nothing like a No. 2 seed early in its first-round matchup against upset-minded Jacksonville State.

The Cardinals’ cold-shooting put them in a 10-2 hole from the get-go, and no sequence better illustrated their woes than this one:

That was three – count ‘em, three – misses from right near the basket. And Jaylen Johnson provided the exclamation point by getting rejected by the rim on an uncontested dunk attempt.

The Cardinals eventually battled back to take their first lead of the game with just under seven minutes remaining in the first half, but that slow start could haunt them if the Gamecocks manage to hang around.
