Indiana fans distract free-throw shooter by singing Christmas carol
Indiana got back into the win column on Monday night with a 112-70 victory over Alcorn State.
Up big to start the second half, fans inside Assembly Hall started to get into the Christmas spirt. As Alcorn State junior guard Malachy Onwudiegwu stepped to the line to shoot two free throws with 14:15 remaining, the Indiana student section began singing "Jingle Bells." The Christmas carol was enough of a distraction to force Onwudiegwu to miss both free throws.
I watched a basketball game tonight and heard the fans (band?) sing a Christmas carol. https://t.co/F77VXBHqSCArticle continues below ...
