Furman coasts to 101-48 win over Bob Jones (Nov 10, 2017)

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) Devin Sibley scored 23 points, Daniel Fowler added 15 more and Furman cruised to a 101-48 win over Bob Jones in the season opener for both teams Friday night.

Furman shot 52 percent from the field and had six players in double figures, including Matt Rafferty with 16 rebounds to go with his 10 points. Jordan Lyons had 14 points, John Davis scored 12 and Andrew Brown 10.

Sibley hit all four of his shots from 3-point range and finished 8 of 11 from the field.

Furman took control with a 25-2 run in the opening half to make it 42-22 with 3:08 left before the break. Sibley, Brown and Alex Hunter each had 3-pointers in the run. The Paladins closed out the game with a 22-2 run over the game's final 6:26 to seal the win for new coach Bob Richey.

Bob Jones, a National Christian College Athletic Association program, scored the game's first six points and jumped out to an 18-8 lead early in the first half before Furman dug in.

Jayson Barnhart led three Bruins in double figures with 16 points.
