Frink's double-double helps LIU Brooklyn beat Bryant (Dec 31, 2016)

NEW YORK (AP) — Jerome Frink had 23 points and 15 rebounds to lead LIU Brooklyn to a 74-63 victory over Bryant on Saturday to snap a four-game skid.

Frink was 9 of 16 from the field, made three 3-pointers and blocked a career-best four shots. Jashaun Agosto scored 17 points and had a career-high nine assist for the Blackbirds (8-7, 1-1 Northeast Conference). Iverson Fleming added 13 points.

Nisre Zouzoua scored 23 points on 8-of-17 shooting for Bryant (3-11, 0-2). Adam Grant had 12 points and five assists. Marcel Pettway chipped in 10 points.

LIU Brooklyn had a double-digit lead with three minutes left in the first half. Bryant pulled to 51-41 with 15:32 remaining but didn't get closer. The Bulldogs were just 7 of 20 from 3-point range and 12-of-19 shooting from the line (63 percent).
